A feature that allows RoomPriceGenie to send prices to both your Property Management System (PMS) and your Channel Manager (CM) at the same time.

What is Dual Integration?

Dual Integration is a feature that allows RoomPriceGenie to send prices to both your Property Management System (PMS) and your Channel Manager (CM) at the same time.

This ensures that your pricing is accurately delivered across all connected systems, even in cases where your PMS does not automatically forward prices to your Channel Manager.

Why Does Dual Integration Exist?

Some Property Management Systems do not pass prices through to the Channel Manager after receiving them from RoomPriceGenie. In these situations, Dual Integration ensures your Channel Manager still receives the correct prices directly from RoomPriceGenie, keeping all your systems in sync.

Requirements

For Dual Integration to work, RoomPriceGenie must already have an existing integration with your Channel Manager. If your Channel Manager is not currently integrated with RoomPriceGenie, our team will advise you on the available options.

How Price Uploads Work

When prices are sent using Dual Integration, they are delivered in the following sequence:

  1. Prices are sent to your PMS first. RoomPriceGenie waits for a confirmed success response from the PMS before proceeding further.
  2. Prices are then sent to your Channel Manager.

Important Things to Keep in Mind

  • Because prices are sent sequentially (not simultaneously), there may be a brief window where your PMS and Channel Manager are not fully in sync. This is expected behaviour and typically resolves quickly.
  • Short delays or temporary mismatches between systems can occasionally occur.
  • The timing of how quickly third-party systems reflect updated prices is outside of RoomPriceGenie's control.
  • We recommend verifying your pricing on critical dates (e.g. high-demand periods, events) to ensure everything looks correct across all platforms.
  • A full price push can take some time to complete due to the volume of data being sent to both systems. If you see a delay before receiving a success confirmation, please wait and avoid sending multiple uploads in quick succession, as this may cause issues.
