Clients might report a mismatch in revenue figures between Protel and RoomPriceGenie. To ensure the data is consistent across both systems, clients have the opportunity to pull Reports depending the protel version they use: onPrem or ProtelAir
Protel onPrem Version
For Protel onPremise, clients can generate the DQE (Data Quality Evaluation) Report. This report helps our technical team and developers to troubleshoot when it comes to discrepancies in Dashboard data.
Clients must click on the option "Additional Module" / zusatzmodule (in German) and then select DQE, as shown in the screen below.
Protel Air Version
For Protel Air, clients need the Hotel Status Report instead.
Below are some instructions on how the client can retrieve such a report from Protel Air:
- Go to Reporting
- Click on Reports
- Click on Reservations
- Click on Hotel Status
- Set the right Reporting Period: (for example 01/01/2023 - 31/12/2023)
- Group: Month
- Generate for:
- Type: Room
- Room(s): Select All
- Room Type: Select All
- Status: Confirmed, Optional, Tentative
- Filter: All
- Revenue: Net
- Out of Order Rooms: Include
- Pseudo Rooms: Exclude
- Generate the Report in XLS
- Fill in your email address
In both scenarios, clients will receive the report via email and should forward it to the Support Team or the person from RoomPriceGenie they're in contact.
